Anchor or combine two layers together

Introduction

  • Made to maximise templating, anchoring two layers helps to automatically adjust both layers when one is changed

How it works

  • Select your first anchored layer, click on the Anchor icon on the top left corner and select a reference point (small anchor)

  • Select your second anchored layer and select your second reference point.
  • By default, moving the first anchored layer, moves the second anchored layer and vice versa.
  • By default, if you move one of the two anchored layers, the frame shape will be adjusted

Two anchor options:

  • Select "One Way": moving the second anchored layer does not move the first anchored layer
  • Select "No side effects": moving both anchored layers, will automatically maintain frame shape

Example 1: 2 texts

  • First, anchor first text layer at bottom left corner with no side effect with second text
  • Second, anchor first text layer at right side with second text

Example 2: Layouts

Anchor both images with no side effect
