How do I apply a background color under the text?

• It is possible to apply a background color to a text block.
• Simply click on background, choose your color to apply the color to the entire text block.

• There is another possibility. This involves applying a background color not to the entire text block, but only to the characters.
• To do this, click on the small T in the text menu.
• 
• Choose its alignment (left, middle, right). Then choose the color from the background menu.
• The background will then be applied only under the text and not over the entire text block.
