Image Resolution / quality and Format Display

1. Why do the format elements appear in red in the right-hand column?

The format elements (zoom percentage, width, and height) appear in red when the imported image has too low a resolution for the desired size.

Screen with low resolution

2. What do the values displayed in red mean?

  • The zoom % indicates how much the image is being scaled up.
  • The width and height show the applied dimensions.

When these values are in red, it means the image may become pixelated or blurry.

3. How can I fix this image quality issue?

You can:

  • Reduce the zoom percentage to improve sharpness.
  • Import a higher-resolution image to avoid quality loss.

4. What happens if the image quality is good?

When the image has a sufficient resolution, the format information is displayed in black instead of red.

5. Do I always need to reduce the zoom % if the text is red?

Yes, in most cases. If you cannot reduce the zoom (because the final size is required), it’s best to use an image with higher resolution.
