Alignment Tools (Layout Grid, Rulers, and Positioning Grid)
This article explains how to access and configure alignment tools available in the display editor mode. These tools help you position visual elements precisely using grids, rulers, and alignment lines.
How can I access the grid and alignment tools?
The alignment tools are accessible from the display in editor mode.
At the top right of your screen, next to the small dialog box, you’ll find an icon representing a square with dotted lines, called Layout Grids.
Click this icon to open the alignment options menu.

What are the main features of Layout Grids?
When you click the Layout Grid button, you can access three main features:
- Snap Move – Automatically aligns layers with the grid or with other elements.
- Positioning Grid (Layout Grid) – Displays a customizable grid for precise object placement.
- Rulers – Adds horizontal and vertical guides for optimal alignment.
How can I customize the positioning grid (Layout Grid)?
You can adjust the size and density of the grid to suit your needs.
To do this, select the filter option located on the right side of the interface. It allows you to set the size of the grid squares displayed on your design or folder, helping you adapt the grid to your project.
How does the “Rulers” option work?
When you activate the Rulers option, small guides appear at the top and left of your design.
Simply click and drag these guides onto your canvas to position alignment lines wherever you need them.
You can create as many guides as you like, both vertically and horizontally, to structure your layout effectively.

To do this, simply click the padlock icon located next to the ruler options as per below
