How to export to DAM "Bynder"? Detailed

If your Bynder DAM has been connected to the Brandeploy platform, you can import assets, images, and videos from your DAM into Brandeploy to create new assets. Similarly, you can export assets created within Brandeploy back to your DAM while preserving the exact same metadata.

EXPORTING CREATED ASSET TO BYNDER

When your asset is ready, you can edit its metadata to prepare it for export to your DAM. This can be done either when the asset is finalized or at the end when you want to export all assets to Bynder. We recommend to do it when finalising asset.

METHOD ONE : Sending to DAM asset by asset

Filling Metadata when an asset is complete

Go to "Information" > "Edit Metadata":

Edit Metadata AM Bynder" and complete all metadata fields in the left column. These fields are exact replicas of those in your DAM. Metadata are automatically assigned to the asset on the right.

Note:-The assets listed are those selected in the "Export Config." For example, if the export config selected images and PDFs, only those types of assets will appear in the list.-All DAM fields synchronize with Bynder once a week. If a new field is added to your DAM, it will appear in Brandeploy within a maximum of one week.

Saving and Exporting Assets

Once all field are filled, click on "Save DAM Bynder" to save the metadata. This does not send the data to the DAM yet.

Save field tivate synchronization and send assets to the DAM, click " Save All." This triggers asset generation and the upload to DAM begins when the " Uploading to DAM" screen appears.

Once the upload is complete, the DAM ID will be displayed in Brandeploy below the image asset.

IMPORTANT NOTES:Modifications After Upload: If changes are made after the asset has been uploaded to DAM, the new version will not be saved automatically. You must re-upload it using the same process.Multiple Versions of the Same Asset: If an asset has multiple saved versions in Bynder, you will see different versions in your DAM (as illustrated below).

Assets in Multiple Sizes: If an asset is created in various sizes, these versions will appear in your DAM under the "Related Assets" section (as shown in the image below).

**OPTION 2: Sending many assets at once: **

When you are on your main folder: Select all assets with variation you want to send to DAM. Then click on "Send to DAM". All Metadata from all your Asset will appears and will have to be filled using the same methodology and steps then previously describe in Option 1.

Please activate the Send to DAM green button for each image before pushing on the Send to DAM on the top right corner.

Please note that we recommend to fill DAM metadata when creating one asset, in order to make it easier when sending many assets at once.
